College Days is a private film screening series designed by SFFILM’s Programming Team for Bay Area university students to deepen their understanding of the art form, film history, and film culture.
Twice a year during the San Francisco International Film Festival in the spring and the Doc Stories festival in the fall, SFFILM brings films and filmmakers from around the world to colleges including University of California Berkeley, University of San Francisco, San Francisco State University, Stanford University, University of California Santa Cruz, and University of California Davis, among others.
Screening programs are enhanced with thoughtful and deep conversations between professors and filmmakers, students and filmmakers, and are supported by SFFILM Programmers at each class session. In addition, students are offered discounted tickets to ongoing festival screenings and events.
