Ticketing FAQs
How do I get a ticket with my badge?
Tickets may be requested from the Doc Stories Box Office, which opens 30 minutes before the first screening of each day. Requests can only be made for day-of screenings, subject to availability.
Can I request tickets in advance, before I arrive at Doc Stories?
If you see an event you would like to attend, please email guestoffice@sffilm.org with your request. Please note that all requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.
The film I want to see is AT RUSH, now what?
You can go to the Rush Line 15 minutes before the screening for complimentary access (subject to availability).
Where is the Doc Stories Box Office?
You can find our Box Office representatives at the Vogue Theater.
Do the complimentary tickets to my own screening include my own seat?
If you plan on sitting through your screening, then yes! Your badge alone is not a ticket, even if you are attending your own screening.
Do my complimentary tickets to my own screening have reserved seats?
Yes! If your ticket says “Filmmaker” on it, please use the seats marked with a light-blue flag.
Do I need tickets if I want to attend a Schools at the Festival screening with guests?
No, if you need to attend/bring guests to a Schools at the Festival screening, please reach out to Guest Office or your Education contact.
