SFFILM provides an honorarium to support your attendance at the festival. We’re offering this honorarium to give you greater flexibility when traveling, so feel free to choose your preferred airline, use points, and travel at times that suit your schedule. We recommend booking your flights ASAP, as prices are rising quickly!
After purchasing your flight, please send us your flight details and the best phone number to contact you in case of emergencies once you're in San Francisco.
INSTRUCTIONS
Here are the steps to receive your honorarium:
We will send you a link to a form from Pdffiller platform. Please click the link and complete the form with your personal details (name, email, address, and signature). Please indicate if your payment will be made to a non-US financial institution.
After we receive your signed form, our team will process it and send you an email invitation to our payment platform, bill.com. Through Bill.com, you will be asked to provide your bank information in order to receive your honorarium via direct deposit. Please note that the Bill.com invitation may take up to one week to arrive after you submit the form.
You will need to create a profile in Bill.com to direct automatic payment to your bank or financial institution. Let us know if you already have a bill.com account we can link to!
If you do not create your Bill.com profile, it might delay payment. Most payments are within 30 days of receipt of all invoices and required documentation, unless otherwise specified in an agreement.
If you require a check (US ONLY) instead of direct payment, this also might delay payment. Please email gchristiansen@sffilm.org if you require a check instead of direct deposit.
You will be reimbursed within 30 days of your arrival at the Festival.
International guests: If you receive funds in a country outside of the US, we will ask you to confirm the country and currency in the form before you are invited to Bill.com. If SFFILM is unable to complete payment through Bill.com in your local currency (either because of Bill.com limitations or recipient set-up), you will be responsible for any SFFILM incurred wire fees associated with a bank to bank transfer.
