SCHOOLS AT THE FESTIVAL

A hallway at a school is filled with young students around 7-10 years old. An adult man sits at their center and a few teachers are standing at the back. There is student art on the walls behind them.

The 2026 SFFILM Festival invites you to participate in the Schools At The Festival Program!

Since 1991, SFFILM’s Schools at the Festival program has created a vital connection between the annual San Francisco International Film Festival and the local educational community, providing students of all ages the opportunity to experience stories from around the world.

The vibrant schools in the Bay Area would love the opportunity to screen your film and host you in their K–12 classrooms. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to share your story with a new, young audience.

Notable past participants in the program include: Ryan Coogler, John Shenk, Debra Granik, Barry Jenkins, Jennifer Lawrence, Steve James, Anna Boden, Domee Shi, Jenny Slate, Chris Miller, Phil Lord, and Joe Talbot.

We hope you will consider visiting a school to connect with young filmmakers and audiences of tomorrow. If you are interested in participating, please fill out the form linked below and contact your guest office representative or guestoffice@sffilm.org.
